ctrlX OS - OPC UA-EN
After completing the eLearning module, you will have gained fundamental knowledge of the OPC Unified Architecture and be able to configure the ctrlX OS apps OPC UA Server, OPC UA Client and OPC UA Pub/Sub. You will understand the functionality of OPC UA Client-Server and Pub/Sub, enabling you to select the appropriate connection method for your specific application. At the end of each section, you will apply your knowledge in practical parts and establish an OPC UA Client-Server connection.

- eLearning module ctrlX CORE I
- Installation of ctrlX WORKS version 2.6
- Installation of ctrlX AUTOMATION apps OPC UA Server, OPC UA Client and OPC UA Pub/Sub (licenses are not required when using the ctrlX COREvirtual)

Once the eLearning module is completed you will be able to
- configure the OPC UA Server app and connect to a client by establishing a connection from any client to the server
- connect from the client to another server by allowing the client of a ctrlX CORE to communicate with another OPC UA device (machine-to-machine communication)
- configure an OPC UA Pub/Sub Multicast and Unicast communication
